About ePortfolio

ePortfolio Community

A community of practice has been established to improve the electronic portfolio development processes by building campus-wide knowledge of electronic portfolio use within SFSU and its broader CSU community through research, collaboration, experimentation, and sharing.

If you are interested in learning more about how to use ePortfolios in your courses, programs, or college: Contact eport@sfsu.edu

ePortfolios in the CSU

The CSU ePortfolio Project is a community of members – CSU faculty, staff, administrators – that share a common interest in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning through the use of ePortfolios. Click here to learn more about SF State ePortfolio projects.

The Digital Teaching & Learning Consortium

is a newly formed membership organization of educational institutions in Northern California working together to develop and support high quality, low-cost, technology-based environments and activities such as Learning Management Systems and electronic portfolios.

Our community includes faculty, administrators and technical staff from California Community Colleges and California State University Campuses in the Bay Area: CSU Monterey Bay, San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, Humboldt State, College of San Mateo, City College of San Francisco, De Anza College, Skyline College, Canada College and Stanford, among others, including Bay Area high schools.

We meet regularly online and in person. Please JOIN us if you are interested in:

  • Student successes and transitions between academic institutions
  • Collaborating as the academic technology landscape changes
  • Creating an economy of scale around specific technologies
  • Supporting students and faculty using these technologies
  • Creating a public knowledge base of effective teaching and learning practices
