Department Software

Some departments may still require paper-based portfolios. Other departments are increasingly requiring that you enter, save, organize, view, and selectively share your work in a digital format.

Your department may already be using a specific software program to create ePortfolios. There are a number of software solutions in place at SFSU such as:

• eFolio
• Health Education, MPH
• Recreation and Leisure Studies, Contact Erik Rosegard
• MATESOL
• KEEP Toolkit
• English Education
• Taskstream
• Department of Elementary Education
• ICAP
• Secondary Education

Other departments may require you to archive your work on CDs, DVDs, and websites. Please follow the guidelines as outlined by your department. You may also want to refer to the information on this site about the "portfolio process".
