If you are ready to build your portfolio using a pre-set web template, or create your own site, SFSU's Department of Information Technology (DoIT) provides every SFSU student, regardless of program or campus location, with 200 MB of SFSU Internet storage space.
Your personal webspace is automatically set up when you register at SFSU. Digital files copied into your portfolio web folder are accessible by any Internet web browser.
This web-tutorial is ONLY for students interested in using the SF State hosted sites. It is designed specifically to provide step-by-step instructions for students who want to create an ePortfolio, using Seamonkey (a free open-source html editor), and publish it within your personal webspace.

There are a variety of tools that you can use to create and publish your ePortfolio. The most popular web editing software on SFSU's campus is Adobe Dreamweaver. Here is a link for a list of labs on campus
For your convenience, San Francisco State University provides a selection of ready to use templates for your ePortfolio. Below are two choices of generic templates that you can use to build your personal ePortfolio.

After downloading, rename the resulting folder "eportfolio". This will become part of your web address (ex. userwww.sfsu.edu/~username/eportfolio).
